This quote means a lot to me in terms of never giving up. All of us have the opportunity to succeed in whatever we put our minds to. But it takes effort, and perseverance. Some people might not be up to the task, and therefore let themselves fall behind. I mean failure is always an option, and usually it is the easy way out of things. But having experiences shape who we are, and choosing success as an option only furthers our chances of becoming someone we can be proud of. To me, this quote means you should never give up. No matter how hard the task- perseverance is the key. Why are we going to choose failure when success is an option? I think of this in terms of completing Senior year. I could choose to give into Senioritis, and believe me I have considered that as an option, but I am so close to graduating that I would rather go out with a bang and say I tried my hardest to be the best damn student I could possibly be! Opportunities for procrastination have presented themselves in my final year, and yes I have procrastinated some. But I am determined to leave AMES knowing I did the best that I could have possibly done. I am making a choice to choose success!
