Here we are... senior year at last. My entire time at AMES has been building to this moment I will be sure to remember for the rest of my life. In just a few short months I will be graduating from High School and going off to college. I plan on pursuing an Associate of Applied Science degree, in the field of Fitness Technician at Salt Lake Community College. AMES is where I first discovered my love of all things fitness and recently, nutrition. It is where I decided to venture into the Fitness world and make a name for myself. My friends also helped me realize this dream as well. AMES friends are little families, we are that close together. We are always there for each other, providing support and encouragement through any adversities we may face. The dances provide some wonderful relief from long hours of studying, but in the end it is all worth it. AMES has taught me some crucial lessons that I know will be extremely handy in the future. Number one, do not procrastinate- no matter how small the assignment, try to get it done within a reasonable time frame. Number two, you are smarter than you think- AMES assignments are meant to challenge your intellect and make you really think, and boy do they deliver. Don't deny yourself to indulge in great intellectual feasts, doing your homework can help you realize what exactly makes you tick. It can help you identify your passion. As my time as AMES is drawing to a close, I can't help but wonder what the future holds for me. Whatever it may be, I will be ready, with a smile on my face and big dreams that I know I will achieve!
