Effective Communication
This is my Creative Writing Grand Theft Poem, and I chose this because I think it portrays traits that correspond with EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION. When I was writing this poem, I had to keep in mind that these were just random lines from poetry books, and therefor they didn't fit together. Our basic assignment was not to just choose lines from poetry books, but to take those lines and with them create something that took dedication, and creativity. I had to arrange the stanzas or "poetry lines" so that they would create a flow, kind of like how a river flows, dangerous at times, yet gentle, and wielding. I organized the stanzas so that it was an A B rhyming scheme, except for the first line and fourth line. That shows I organized the stanzas. Not all of the lines are from poetry books. I had to write some of my own so the poem would make sense, and I had to word them just right, you might say I had appropriate word choices. We had to show our individual writing styles through each of the poems. My writing style is dark and usually depressing, that is just the kind of writing I enjoy. I feel I had appropriate tone in my poem, it was after all about a woman committing suicide to be with her deceased lover.
Critical Thinking
I chose my art portfolio for my CRITICAL THINKING. I think it is a good example of what I have gotten done in Art this year. All of the art projects we do in end up in our Art Portfolio. Our ultimate goal is to show our personality through our art pieces. We had to portray these are pieces through a number of different mediums to convey our personality. I wanted to show my true self through my art pieces, and for that I had to stop and think. Who really is Kaitlyn Tull? It was a challenging process but I tried going with the theme of, well... me! I have included the link of my portfolio and an artists statement I had to write explaining my process of the art piece and whether I liked the assignment or not.

Integration and application of knowledge in civic, social, and personal contexts
This is a PowerPoint I did for my Computer Tech. class; and I chose to use it for my INTEGRATION AND APPLICATION Drsl. We had to make a presentation showing who we are and what we like. We had to let our personalities shine through, we did that by using clip-art and fonts that we were attracted too. I used my knowledge of PowerPoint to create something I am very proud of. I used personal experiences I have had happen in my life to help me make the choices of what hobbies, foods, and music I enjoy. This signifies that I have connected a school assignment and some personal information about myself. I presented this to my class and felt proud that they knew some of the things that interest me.
